PT Chandra Asri Petrochemical (CAP) adalah perusahaan petrokimia terbesar dan terintegrasi secara vertikal di Indonesia dengan fasilitas-fasilitasnya yang terletak di Ciwandan, Cilegon dan Puloampel, Serang di Provinsi Banten. CAP merupakan pabrik petrokimia utama yang memanfaatkan teknologi dan fasilitas pendukung canggih kelas dunia. Jantung operasi CAP adalah Lummus Naphtha Cracker yang menghasilkan Ethylene, Propylene, Mixed C4, dan Pyrolysis Gasoline (Py-Gas) berkualitas tinggi untuk Indonesia serta pasar ekspor regional.
Selain pabrik Naphtha Cracker, CAP memiliki fasilitas produksi Polyethylene dan Polypropylene yang terintegrasi yang menggabungkan dua teknologi kelas dunia. Empat reaktor Unipol dengan lisensi dari Union Carbide: satu reaktor mampu menghasilkan resin Linear Low dan High Density Polyethylene; tiga reaktor lainnya mampu menghasilkan berbagai resin Polypropylene. Reaktor kelima menggunakan lisensi dari Showa Denko KK, teknologi revolusioner Jepang yang dikenal dengan Bimodal High Density Polyethylene. Kedua teknologi kelas dunia tersebut digabungkan untuk memproduksi berbagai grade resin Polyethylene untuk memenuhi sebagian besar permintaan Polyethylene di Indonesia.
Guna memastikan produksi yang berkesinambungan, CAP memiliki pembangkit listrik terpasang dengan kapasitas yang melebihi kebutuhan produksi normal. Selain itu, CAP memiliki sambungan ke PLN sebagai sumber listrik cadangan. Pabrik pun memiliki instalasi desalinasi dan pengolahan air yang menghasilkan air yang sangat murni untuk digunakan pada sistem pendingin, tanki penyimpanan, dan jetty.

Project Engineer (Contract Project)
Deskripsi Pekerjaan
Responsibilities:
Reviewing internal specifications and Contractor’s issued documents
Communicating with contractors, on the project needs and requirements
Performing quality check on deliverables, including calculation, design, etc.
Cooperating and communicating with the project manager and other project participants and collaborating with senior engineers to create more efficient project methods
Reviewing the engineering tasks and initiating the necessary corrective actions.
Developing specifications for the project’s needed equipment.
Reporting to the management regarding any issues
Evaluation of Change Order (if any)
Ensuring the project’s compliance with the applicable codes, practices, policies, performance standards, and specifications.
Qualifications:
Background can be Electrical, Instrument or Civil Engineering.
For Electrical Engineering Background:
At least 7 years experiences in the below listed.
Power system distribution and Power system analysis
Specialist on large motor starting analysis and familiar with large motor application
Well understand on IEC and IEEE code standard
Had previous experience in Design and Integration of CCTV, Intrusion Detection System, Plant Alarm (Fire Alarm), Access Control,
Telecommunication, etc
QA/QC for electrical equipment control and inspection
Be able to calculate/estimate MP and prepare construction schedule
Experience in site construction management for electrical work.
Experience in explosion proof equipment installation and substation design
Familiar with 3D model review/ program
For Instrument Engineers:
At least 7 years experiences in below listed
Field instrument types and its applications in petrochemical industry.
Design and define instrument devices that most suitable for its services
Equipment and devices sizing and selection
Well known on SIL and HAZOP development to deliver minimum practical safety and investment
Had previous experience in Design and Integration of Fire and Gas Detection system
well known QA and QC procedure for inspection and construction
Experience in construction scheduling, estimate manpower
Experience in construction field supervision.
Familiar with 3D model review/ program
For Civil Engineering Background:
Civil foundation and structure design to fit petrochemical industry practices.
Good understanding of and familiar with using Civil & Structural Engineering Codes (e.g.: SNI, ASCE, ACI, AISC, UBC, ASTM, etc.)
Well known detailed design and engineering related to Seismic zone 5
Well known QA and QC p
At least 7 years experiences in listed belowrocedure for inspection and construction
Experience in construction scheduling, estimate manpower
Experience in construction field supervision.
Familiar with 3D model review/ program
